We played, colored, read books, wrestled, did “school”, washed the dishes, ate food.
The kids and I stayed in our cozy little “home” all morning while Kylan worked at a nearby coffee shop today. It was raining outside and I offered to go on a walk to splash in puddles, but to my surprise, no one took me up on the offer. So we spent the entire morning (all the way to naptime at 1:00) in our 18ft trailer. I didn’t even think twice about it until this afternoon when we finally stepped outside for the first time at 3:00pm. I bet this thing’s about 100sqft... so that just sounds crazy to me for some reason. Anyway, we played, colored, read books, wrestled on the bed, did some “school”, washed the dishes, ate food, and managed to burn enough energy for naptime. After that, Kylan came home, picked us up, and took us on a fun evening adventure here in Seaside, OR.
Here are some cute pics of the fun had by all.
Ps: we weren’t dressed appropriately for the outing because I thought we were just going to be dropping Kylan back off to continue working. So that explains why Greta is wearing siblings sweatshirts and jackets to stay warm. 🤷♀️ Oh! And another fun story. While at the arcade, Briar insisted we try the toy grab claw machine (whatever you call it). I explained to her that you spend $1 for ONE try. “If we miss it, it’s over. We can’t try again unless we pay another dollar.” She replied, “ok I understand. I still think we can do it!” So we did. I aimed the claw at the easiest looking stuffed animal to obtain (it was an orange pig wearing sunglasses). And right before I had finished positioning it to give her the go-ahead, she pressed the bottom. But we got it!!! Haha, she was like, “Ha! See mom! I knew we could do it!” I was like, “I wasn’t even ready yet, Briar!” She said, “I know! But it looked just right so I went for it!” Haha, I love that girl. Anyway, this is fun. This whole thing. You know, trailer life.
