Our Sweet Little Space We Now Call Home

I just have to document this sweet little space we now call home (until we upgrade to a bigger trailer. We definitely need one). The only thing missing in the picture is the bathroom behind me. There are no hidden bunk beds here. This is it. We transform the dinette into a two little person bed every night, we bring in a toddler mattress to balance on the threshold of the dinette and king mattress there, and Greta sleeps next to us. Isn’t that INSANE?! ahh! The worst part is transforming the beds every night and cleaning up in the morning. It’s tons of bedding and pillows all over the place!

Other than that, I’m LOVING IT. Seriously loving it. More than I had predicted. I’m still sifting through things we brought but don’t need, and making room for the things we use but are tucked away too far. That yellow tote is full of books, and we’ve been utilizing it the most. That and the huge bin of legos under the bed blocked by the yellow tote.

You don’t need much, folks. My kids wake up so happy. I haven’t dealt with a meltdown or temper tantrum since hitting the road. And THEY ARE INCREDIBLE IN THE CAR! I could cry at how much they amaze me in the long car rides. Absolutely no whining.

I want to keep this account as real as possible, you guys. We follow a bunch of RV dwellers from this account and the fake is making me sick. So stay tuned for the posts when I/we go through rough patches. I just know they will come. But so far, I’m still in the “honeymoon” phase. 😉

This is a pic I took during Maverick, Greta, and Frankie’s little naptime. Oh! And speaking of Frankie! He’s loving this life as well! I let him out to roam freely and he stays close and always comes back when I call him. He’s the best. -Breck
